Abbreviated as TCFH. A coupling reagent used in peptide synthesis. Frequently recommended to link extremely hindered or achiral amino acids.1 Has been used as a condensing agent for esterification,2 for synthesis of N-perfluoroundecanoyl-l-proline-3,5-dimethylanilide,3 and for the syntheses of ester prodrugs of molecules bearing groups of low reactivity.4 Also used as starting material for preparing other coupling reagents.5
